A thoroughly enjoyable day today at #TredegarParkPrimarySchool #Duffryn #Newport. The classes had a project to learn about different countries, with my class appointed 'Scotland'.
I explained to the young children about the uniform, the Glengarry(hat), Sgian Dubh (sock knife), Sporran (Man Purse) :-) and the component parts of the Bagpipes.
I then explained & played the practice chanter, followed by the full Bagpipes.
A great fun day in the company of the 3-4 year old age group.
Thank you for inviting me :-)
